Dining Area
The kitchen and two dining rooms that seat up to 300 people are contained in the main building. Meals are served in cafeteria style. Refrigerators, deep freeze units, and a bakery help assure quality food for the table. An auditorium seating over 200 is beneath one dining room and some individual sleeping quarters and storage closets are beneath the other dining room. The nun's convent is connected to the kitchen. At one time the nun's provided all the food service, but now most of the work force comes from people living outside of St. Charles.
